Thanks

Thanks!

Team Nova (Ben, Jim and Nick) would like to thank all those who put their trust in us to deliver a full weekend game of Cyberpunk after a few years of having it happen as part of larger UKLTA events.

In the run up we worried a little about crew numbers, but we needn't have. The crew dealt with the absurdly huge brief and kept our players run ragged all weekend. Cyberpunk has always tried to "punch you in the face with stuff" and the crew kept it going. Special thanks go to Christi and Mark who came in at the last minute and stuck with it despite a disaster with their car that could have easily sent them home in frustration.

When we first announced the event we hoped it would draw in a few new faces to UKLTA and we're happy to say we managed this. We hope those of you who were new to our little corner of LARP found the old hands welcoming, had a good time and will consider coming to future events. Post-event posting and anecdotes suggest you did but we'll be issuing a full feedback survey shortly to try and pick up anywhere we let you down.

The event was blessed with about the best weather you could hope for in October and everybody pulled out all the stops on costume and roleplaying. We tried to give you an environment that would do this justice with the Cybar and Night Market, given the constraints of our site and budget. We really hope you got some photos as we were too busy to find time for this.

We think we managed to cover all the story points we had lined up, and hope that you enjoyed them. A couple of long running threads (Architech, Emma Pendleton) got mostly closed off while others (The Faceless, The Inquisition) ramped up and we can't wait to riff on those going forward.

Cyberpunk: A Life on the Edge will return as part of Dropzone 28-31st May 2027.
